matongo location
at the age of seven i went to masakwe primary school i.e from 1972 to 1978,when i sat for my k.s.c.e and attained division 3,i joined jogoo college in 1986 to 1987 where i deed a diploma in sales and marketing,i joined lodra ltd as a salesman for five years from 1988 to 1992.i left lodra ltd because i was being paid very low.it took me three years lookinng for a source of income.this is when i decided to start my own small business of selling vegetables and fruits on the roadside of nakuru town.in the year 2006 i started to think of developing the plot ,i joined a micro finance (krep)which comprised of a group of five people.
in the year 2006 i started a group of five people, where we used to save some small savings i.e 200 per week from there i got a loan of ksh 100,000/=which i used to construct six temporal rooms i.e iron sheets and muddy,i rented four room@ ksh 2000 and i am using two with my family,on this same plot i constructed a kiosk (small shop) for my wife who is using it to sell her vegetables and paraffin to surrounding people, from the kiosk we are able to generate an income of 30,000ksh per month from rent we are able to collect ksh 8,000/= per month,i need this loan to repair rental rooms i.e painting ksh.10,000,2.add stock to our kiosk 7,000ksh,3.miscellaneous 3000ksh.my business will improve the environment of those staying in my rooms.it will add some income to me since i will increase rent. it will enable us supply vegetables regularly to the increasing number of people around us .currently i am concentrating on supplying vegetables and renting of my four rooms, once i get more money i intend to add another four rooms,if my business is stocked more it will add profit of 10,000ksh to bring to around 40,000ksh per month
given the loan i will promote my kiosk that normally gives a profit of ksh 30,000/=by increasing stock and i am positive of generating an extra 10,000/=ksh each month, moreover i will repair rental houses and hence increasing house rent from 2000ksh to 3500/= hence getting a double income from my rentals ,also i will add four rooms and look for tenants ,this tenants will also be my kiosk customers as i ve my kiosk on that same parcel of land ,
