About Me

I was born in koforidua in the eastern region of ghana and spent my entire childhood and adolescent years there. I attended my primary school in my community, it was just 200 meters so i use to walk to and from the house everyday and we the children enjoy the narrow foot path which we walk on. no parent bother to accompany as to school as adult body has a duty to take care of every body in the community. I am now a widow 5years now with 4 children, three girls and 1 boy. Life was good until my husband passed away,. i was a housewife and and lived on the his pension and the little savings i had. Life was becoming difficult as i had to take care my children alone paying fees and taken care of the home. This led me to explore various opportunity until i ventured into this beaty industry. i put few of the product in my bag and distribute to my friends. My firts daughter wants to be script writer , the second on wants to be a lawyer and a pilot, the third dosent no wgta to do yet and i have a desire that my last born becomes a Doctor. I used to party alot in my teens and was very outgoing type but i have become reserve and also used to enjoy travelling.

My Business

I sell cosmetics and do make-up for friends in my living room. I realise that the beauty industry was the other of the day and ladies were getting so much into it. i was doing the make-up for free but realised that my other friends were making money out of it so base on my ability to offer superior service i decided to do it for money now. The revenue i make ranges from $6 to $15 depending on the request. my cost also depends ranging from $2 to $8. The profit from this ventures enables me to pay children school fees, take care of the home and also reinvest in my busines. i still operate from my house and will later move when i am in good stead.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to purchase more creams to sell and also will
Use some to rent a shop at a market in my area. It will help me to provide for my children 's need. The price of the creams ranges from $3 to $9.
In a week i make at least $100 as profit which means in a month my profit margin is a
little over $400. The loan will help me pay for my children's fees and others in my community.
