About Me

I am a lady aged 27 years old. I am married to Pascal Mwangi and a mother of one child called Risper Waceke. I am third born in my family and my husband is the last born child in his family. I finished my O-level in the year 2006 and passed with a C plain grade. I didn’t manage to join a tertiary college due to financial status of my parents instead i moved to Naivasha to look for casual employment in kiosks like the hotels and as housemaid in order to meet my basic needs. After 3 years I met my husband who was also working in Juakali industry as an electrician. I married him in the year 2009. To support one another, we agreed he is going to start a small business for me. After long deliberation, we agreed the best business to start was an electrical shop which will be dealing with electrical fittings and equipments. The business peaked well and it had been of great support to us since we entirely depend with it in providing our basic needs like food , clothing and shelter and also providing education to my child although my husband give me support from the earning he gets from the Juakali sector . To expand, am planning to diversify it by adding ladies clothes and shoes. The purpose of applying zidisha loan is therefore to look for capital which will enable add the intended items

My Business

I am a stockist of electrical fittings items and equipment. The business is located in Naivasha town within in Nakuru County Kenya. Naivasha is one of the upcoming towns in Kenyan in terms of real estate. Similarly, most of the leading flower farms in Kenya are located in Naivasha. Flowers farms uses a lot of electrical power at night to light those farms and as a result they require electrical fitting gadgets like sockets,switches, bulbs, fluorescent and even electrical wires to enable them achieve their goal.Therefore electrical fittings and electrical services are highly required within town and it’s environ. To maximize my sales, we have partnered with my husband whereby he looks for the orders then i supply the items required.
Am also planning to diversify the business by adding ladies clothes and shoes so that i can maximize profit.

Loan Proposal

Once i get the fund, intend to use 20 dollars to expand and redesign the shop. Another 20 dollars will be used to buy ladies shoes in order to diversify my business. 40 dollars will be used in adding stock for the the already existing business of electrical equipment and electrical fittings items like sockets,conduits, plugs, electrical wires, bulbs and electrical boxes. The rest of the money will be used in printing posters will be fixed in the front face of the business to do advertising
