About Me

My name is Enoch Diez and I am a Ghanaian. I was raised in an orphanage, charity center at the very early stages of my life until I was 17 years when the organization faced financial constraints and that forced the inmates who were at my age and stage out of school. So upon leaving the center I stayed with my senior brother who was already struggling himself so I could not complete high school even. I did a lot of menial jobs to earn a living and in the process, I began selling biscuits along the streets of Accra. That has since been my business. It is not really on a large scale, but my hopes are that I will be able to raise a loan via this platform so that I can open my own grocery shop. As I speak, I have a place where I can build a very small shop inside dansoman market, but the capital to go for stock to fill the shop is my problem now. And at the center, we were taught integrity and hard work and that has been my strength all this while and I know that if I do not give up then I will surely get there. I am appealing to this platform to help me with a loan to build my business and grow from there.
thank you.....

My Business

I am into grocery business, selling biscuits of all kinds. Consumables are always in high demand hence even though I do not have a shop but have to roam along the streets of Accra with my stocks , it is still very profitable...I have chosen this kind of business because at that material time that was what my capital could afford me and also due to the profit margin which is very high. If I buy a box of biscuit for instance I make 50% profit of the cost of the inventory and I can sell about three boxes in a day . I invest the profits and use part of it for saving small small and the remaining for my up keep.

Loan Proposal

I want to use this loan to purchase more goods to fill my shop since my goods are of high demand. Specifically, l want to buy more boxes of biscuits, loafs of bread, bags of sachet water and bottle mineral water. I make a profit of $50 a day on each box of biscuit, $20 on each bag of sachet water and $30 profit on a carton of mineral water. I will be able to pay back my loan on time since my profit margin is considerably high. Thanks.

I'm very sorry. I had a problem with my SIM card and it was difficult making payment from a different SIM card. Fortunately, I have rectified the situation. I'm grateful to the team of Zidisha for their help in fixing the situation and also to you my lenders for your patience and much concern. I have gone through a positive turn out in my grocery business and with the help of my first loan, I have been able to fill my shop with more goods. It's been wowing and I'm looking forward to expansion and improvement. I want to say sorry again to you, my lenders about any cause of inconvenience. Thanks.

    Enoch,
How is your grocery business? We haven't heard from you, and you have missed a few payments, so just wanted to make sure everything is going well. Please give us an update.
    Alexandra
