i was born in kisumu and raise there .did my primary school and secondary within kisumu county its only after college that i moved to nakuru that is where l am currently based.i had a nice childhood and was surrounded with loving parents and siblings.
staying in the rural kisumu at that time taught me endurance and perseverance .this has helped me to not shy away from challenges in life but take it head on.so with importance goals in life i achieve them by being focused
i started my business when I came to nakuru more than 4 years ago and realized that there were many people moving far to take lunch in far off places away from the town center being that it was the only places that could provide food at lunch time.i saw an opportunity and utilized it.
In nakuru land is such an important thing that people just invest to get a piece of land .the culture here is mixed as different cultures are married together here.people share a lot and intermarry.
when my children grow up l would just want the best for them.I usually bring them with me to my restaurant to get the feel of what might be their source of income where l retire from active participation in the business.i want them to continue with my legacy.
In my free time i swim and jog to make myself fit and this makes me happy and energised.
I operate a restaurant.this is a place that provide food to people that work in town and at lunch time can easily assess my place and get food and return to work before 2pm.i provide the usually delicacies that people are used to and like during the day.what can be easily eaten and easy for me to prepare and also the food stuffs that can be easily got from nakuru market.
people like visiting my restaurant because it provides food at a lower price that is affordable as many of the food stuff are easily accessed and makes my operation of the business easy.i usually make profits of between $150 to $180.this helps me to pay my bills and also take my children to school and hence improve my level of life.
thanks the zidisha team for being there for small businesses like mine.when i get the loan l will purchase plates at cost of $30 this will increase the number that I have as i expect more customers in this January. $70 will be used to purchase food stuff that will held me serve the customers with their favorite delicacies and make more profits to pay this loan and also expand my business.expansion of this business means more employment chances for those who are eligible
