I am Denis Kipkoech, a twenty four year old Kenyan citizen residing in Baruti Village of Nakuru county- outskirts of Nakuru town. I am a third born in a family of six
I am currently in second year studying a Diploma in Entrepreneurship at African Institute of Professional studies (part-time).
I have a tuck-shop in the busy Kaptembwo estate and this is where I spend most of the time during the day while I go to class in the evenings. My cousin assist me in running the shop when I am engaged.
I am passionate with investments and would like to further my skills through education and grow into it.
My business is retail/tuck-shop in Kaptembwo estate of Nakuru Town, Nakuru County,Kenya.I buy and sell fast moving goods especially domestic consumables. I have been doing this for two years now and the customer base is growing. I use the proceeds to pay my bills, school fees as well as support my siblings. The surplus goes to savings- targeting other projects . The business requires a small capital to get started and also it is highly profitable. The demand for the products is good and the estate has a good population.
December has always been a peak period for business. I would therefore like to expand my stock to match the high demand for products during this season.
I will use all the funds ($100) to source more fast moving products such as baking flour and beverages that will be common during this festive season in Kenya.
This will improve my profits, enable me pay back the loan with ease and still save for future.
