About Me

I am Joyce Kerubo Mogusu,aged 32 years old.Born and brought up by a single mother back in Kisii ,who dedicated herself to see all of us(children)went into good schools and performed good also through her small salary she got from her employment.
I am a mother of two beautiful children,a boy and a girl.I am a wife and a phamacist by proffesion and I do operate a chemist as my means of income to supplement our living standards.I reside at Kayole estate-Nairobi County together with my huband and our two children.
I own a pharmacy shop in Soweto estate,a neighboring estate rfom where i live.My children do attend at the Parkvilla Academy in class 3 and 2 respectively.My husband do work at the Imani supermarket as an accountant.

My Business

I operate a phamacy shop here in Soweto estate.My shop is called Good-Health Phamacy.It is strategically located at the Masimba road,opposite the open market.
In kenya,for one to operate a phamacy,you must have a valid licence from the County's authority,Kenya Drugs & poisons board,Qualified phamacy from recognised universities within(certificate,Diploma or Degree holder),and the environment must fit the necessary healthy requirements before issued with the said permits.In my case,I have undergone all the requirements and obtained the business perints from the relevant bodies.
In my phamacy,I have employed tow more ladies whom we work together to see that we have a healthy community.In my chemist I sell oral drugs for human,examine and prescribe a sick person on the medicines to take as well as reffer badly sick people to the general hospital.
I chose to help the community within my neighboring estate,since they were going so many miles to look for the same treatments and the drugs I sell to them.
In my chemist,there are more challenges,esspecially at noght.The clients keeps coming for the services in my phamacy even at the late hours,making sometimes some of the medicines are out of stock due to the shortage of resources to buy bulky drugs to my clients.
Through the kind support to finance my business to grow more through Zidisha,I am planning to buy the drugs from the main government supplier at the competitive prices,thus making the medicines to be chewaper and affordable to mt clients.Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I am planning to buy 72 dozens ant-Malarial drugs to sell to the commmunity.The medicines will be costing at 93.80 Dollars, 6.20 Dollars will be for the transportation cost from town.The drugs will be of good benefit to my clients as well as to the entire community which they will get at an affordable price comapred to now.Thank you.
