About Me

My names are Boniface Kariuki.I am a permanent resident of Lironi Village,Limuru town.I am an educated youth up-to the Secondary level.I am the second born of the six children and my p[arents are Mr.Charles Mungai and Mrs.Rebecca Nyarwai Mungai.I am a member of First Baptist church of Kenya under the leadership of pastor Injendi.
In my free times I like swimming, mingling with new friends, visiting sick people in hospitals and reading. My business includes farming for income and i practises the agribusiness here in Limuru town.Thank you all.

My Business

For nearly two years now I have been practising farming as the means of getting my income.I practice the agribusiness here in Limuru town.I chose to do the business here, since I had been given a one acre plot by my father, aftre he realised the potential and passion I have in farming.Currently I have sub-divided my one acre land into 50 by 50 squared plot and I have planted several vegetation in each of the plot.
I have surrounded the entire farm with the tissue culture bananas plantations which are good in the production. They also take less time into maturity.
I have concentrated with perennial vegetations for the last six months now,and I can count of the good returns they have giving me.The vegetations includes cabbages, kales, carrots, red chilies,Gorgets, and danias.
The harvesting seasons varies with their plantation period. At the moment,I am expecting for the massive harvest of the cabbages the coming month. At the moment I am lacking the good variety of gorgets and the red-chillies seedlings and they are somehow expensive for me to purchase the said seedlings at the moment.
This has made me to request for a help from Zidisha platform for them to purchase the quality & verified seedlings from the Kenya seeds. The seedlings will be of great help as I am expecting to plant in the next month's season.Kindly help me to feed my community and the entire town.I believe that with your support I will make it happen.Thank you in advance and God bless the entire Zidisha team

Loan Proposal

Thank you Zidisha team for the loan boost.I am planning to purchase the best certified seeds of gorgets and the red-chillies for my farm. The seedlings will cost Ksh3600 and the 50 kgs organic manure at Ksh.2050.I have already prepared the part that I will planting the seeds and I am positive that the team will support my agribusiness to go into another higher level.Thank you.
