About Me

My names are Stephano Nganga Kefa,I was born 1975 in Kericho District, I am the 2rd born in a family of five siblings .i am privileged to undergone through primary school and High School education respectively. I later Joined Rift Valley Technical College for Diploma in Information Technology. After college studies I went back home and started doing casual labours ,where I saved some money and in the Year 2003, I started a business dealing with selling of movie Cds and music CDs.In the Year 2007/08 post Election Violence ,I lost everything that I had invested, but I was lucky I survived and moved with my family in Nakuru Town where I settled and I am running my business again in Nakuru Town.
I am married and I have Two children (Kefa and Mwangi) I am a devoted Christian and in my Church I am an Elder. I am a football fun, watching News, meeting new friends and reading the Bible.

My Business

My business is fully focused on Movie CDs,Music CDs and I do also deal with stationery supply to the schools,at the same time I have invented a video shooting to the occasions and I edit the video to my clients .i restarted my business in the year 2010 after settling in Nakuru Town after the post election violence that engulfed our country. I got a loan from my Uncle which I bought one full set of computer a printing machine which are the core pillars of the business ,since then I managed to repay my uncle back his money and in the year 2012 I bought a 3ccd video shooting camera which also come as a plus to another business opportunity to the existing one that I was operating.
While running this businesses co-currently they have changed my life and I have been able to get back on track in life from what I lost .What I get in my business it assist me to pay for the school fees of my two children,the upkeep of my family i.e food ,paying of rent and also to buy for them clothes. I do purchase my products,empty CDs and stationeries from Nairobi at a considerable price, making my selling price more favourable to that of my competitors.Through good customer relationship by providing discount after purchase of bulky products has pushed my business a mile ahead enabling me to compete adequately with those who have been in this town for a while and making my business to have more clients day by day.
I am operating the business at a cost of USD 1400, average sales per day is USD 145,At the end of the month the profit that I make from the business I use it to pay the school fees of my kid and for the daily upkeep and settle the bills. Loan Proposal

My appreciation goes to Zidisha Team ,for granting me this noble chance to expand my business through the loan from the lenders ,for this particular loan ,i am going to buy Empty Cds and Dvds at a cost of USD 80 , printing papers at a cost of USD 20.
This products will be of great help to my business,because i will be able to meet the demand of the movies and music needed by my clients,and the sales will assist me to pay for my daily upkeep ,saving more for my business and of course to pay for my loan.Thank You in advance for your kind support.
