About Me

My name is Everlyne Wafula I am a fourth born in family of six children. I was brought up in the rural area of Kitale in Trans Nzoia County. My father passed away when I was young and my mum was left with the burden of raising us up. My school life was very hard but my mother did her best to educate us through the savings, she made from selling vegetables from our small portion of land and with the help of well-wishers. I was able to complete my primary education and later high school. Though I passed well in secondary, I was not able to join college because my mother was unable to pay my fees. I started selling ground nuts and boiled eggs to the nearby shopping centre. The proceeds I got from the business helped me join a computer college and attained Diploma in Information Technology (IT).
When I graduated from college, I was employed in a cyber café in Kitale town as network administrator. I used the money from my salary, to help my mother pay fees for my younger siblings and started a computer bureau to help me increase my earnings. I later resigned and started working full time in the business I am able to generate over $300 per month. I use the money to pay bills and expanded the business to a cyber café .
I am planning in opening another branch in the town, which will help me double the current income.
My hobbies are socializing, swimming, traveling, and volunteering to help the needy.

My Business

My cyber café business is located in Kitale town CBD which is a very busy town.A lot of people from the outskirts of kitale always transact their business in the town. Therefore there is high demand of my services especially photocopying this people being my potential customers .
I started this business through the savings I had made from my salary. I have since expanded it to a big cyber of ten computers through the income gained. There is a technical school (Kitale Technical) opposite my cyber and the students from the technical college boost my business very much because they use the internet to do their research. I have employed two assistants who we work with one being a typist.

Loan Proposal

If granted the loan i will purchase photocopy papers,flash disks,color cartridge and lamination papers.Of late i have experienced increase in customers especially those who require photocopy services and lamination.I am also intending to stock flash disks and in doing so my profits will increase to enable me pay my loan without strain and expand my business.
