I am Faith Bett, second born in a family of five. I live in Ogilgei village of Nakuru County. I have a Diploma in Sales and marketing from Kenya Institute of Management and yet to find a formal job.
Currently I have a cosmetic shop that is keeping me busy while also helping me pay my bills enable me pay my bills.
My hobbies are reading informative articles, listening to music, traveling and making new friends.
I have a cosmetics shop at Njoro where I sell cosmetics and makeup products. The shop is my main source of income that support me and my siblings. I started almost a year ago after college and it has been great.
I sell fast-moving cosmetics and makeup products such as eyeshadow, liners and pencils, brushes and tools, lipstick, creams, perfumes, lotions, oils and others.
The business has helped me pay my bills and the little savings has gone to supporting my younger siblings, who are currently in junior secondary.
Right now I would like to improve by adding more stock.
My business is currently hindered by limited stock that I would to improve. I would like therefore use the $100 loan on adding more stock of existing products
Most of fast moving products give a profit margin of 20- 30% when acquired on wholesale, so I expect at least 15% increase in my profits. This will go to repaying the loan and savings for other projects such as opening my own salon.
Thank you.
