About Me

I am Caren Chepkor- 31 years old from and married with two children Roy and Brenda aged 4 years and 6 months respectively. I reside with my family in Tumaini in Nakuru county.
Due to financial challenges, I could not study beyond form four.
Two and half years ago- with the help of my husband, we established a retail shop at Tumaini shopping centre and this is where I spend most of my time.

My Business

As a family, we own a food retail shop at Tumaini shopping centre- about 10 kilometres from Molo town. I ran the shop while my husband only assist me when he is around especially in making orders.
The shop is the only source of income for our family and has been good so far.
I have plans to expand by adding more stock in order to improve profits and minimize costs.

Loan Proposal

Tumaini shopping centre is a growing market. The population has been increasing which has resulted in increased demand. Since we depend on the proceeds for our family consumption, it is often hard to save for improvements.
I am therefore planning to use this $100 loan to equip my shop especially with fast moving goods.
Increased size of inventory will improve profits while reducing costs.
The daily proceeds will go to repayments.
