About Me

I am Grace Addo, a young and visionary lady who hails from the eastern region of Ghana. Having been brought up singlehandedly by my mother alongside six others, life has not been easy. By the grace of God and perseverance, I successfully went through basic education, from there to Wesley Girls' High School and then to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where I obtained a degree in SVC Land Economy.

Now, after the mandatory one-year national service was over and all my efforts at securing employment proved futile, I decided to take on my mom's textile trade, which enabled her to support the family. This wasn't easy, because my society is one where it is perceived that every one who has been to school should only work in the office and nothing else. However, I braced myself up to the task, and today all those who opposed me look at me with admiration.

I am quite fond of kids and so I have been actively involved in the children ministry of my church. I am an avid reader and would soon learn swimming to help me wind down over the weekends.

My Business

I buy and sell Ghana textile prints (GTP), which is a highly-regarded traditional brand of fabric that we love. There are many reasons for which people demand or patronize my products. Basically, we have three ranges of GTP; namely, the safoa, nustyle and adepa, with the prices of the bales going for $1300, $1700 and $2300, respectively. GTP cloth is bought for marriage rites, funerals, naming ceremonies, institutional uniforms, which are normally worn on Fridays, and a host of others.

Loan Proposal

When granted this loan, I wish to top up and buy a bale of the Safoa range of the products which goes for $950. This would help increase my sales and profit. i would settle for the white fabrics in particular because they are in high deman now since most juniour high school pupis are graduating and normally request GTP white fabrics for their thanksgiving seervices in their various churches.

My immediate past loan was of immense help to me. However, my repayment status was late because MTN changed a few things on the mobile money platform without keeping clients informed so I we encountering difficulties trying to transfer the funds on time. I am certain this awful turn of events will not repeat itself.

Hi lenders, sorry for poor repayment of the rest of the loan. This is due to the fact that the MTN mobile money platform is posing a lot of challenges. It is virtually impossible for me to transfer funds from my wallet to the designated number. Please let me know an alternative avenue for channeling the outstanding amount to. I have been really embarrassed upon having calls from my various refrees though my inability to do due diligence is no fault of mine. I have tried several times to get in touch with MTN to ascertain why I am still not able to effect those transactions even after they sent messages that they had worked to rectify those problems. Thank you.

Dear lenders, I have received the loan of Gh1, 397. 00 and as indicated earlier I am going to buy some nustyles for sale. Around this time the people of the various Ga communities hold thier traditional festivals and they are passionate about cladding themselves in these fantastic African designs. This will translate into more sales and profits for me.

Wonderful lenders out there, I wish to express my gratitude for the just-completed loan I received. I was able to buy the white fabrics I needed and had great sales because most Muslim women picked them for their after-Ramadan celebrations.

Dear lenders out there, once again I am very grateful for your financial support because you released the funds at just the right time. As I indicated in my proposal, I am going to buy the GTP white fabrics which is now in high demand because the just-completed junior high school graduates need them for their thanksgiving services; and in no time Muslim women will also need some to wear after the Ramadan.
