About Me

I grew up living with my dad and step mum, I completed University of Ghana in 2013. I read Linguistics and Archaeology . When I was in the University my dad only pays my school fees and expect my mum to take care of the remaining expenses, but my mum was not working so I had to sell some products, work about two jobs at a time just to provide for myself till I completed the University. I was already interested in doing business right from primary, back then I used to sell cereals and some other things children like to my friends at school. Ghana is rich in a lot of raw materials. I'm single but attached. My hobbies are not unique, they are trading , singing and listening to music.

My Business

I'm not into just one particular business, because I do a lot of buy and sell. Also I have other major business projects in mind which I haven't started yet because of inadequate funds. Some of the products I deal in are cloths, pen drives, eggs, pure water, bathing gel, hand wash liquid soap, dressing accessories, etc. The cost can range from $65-$300, depending on the quantity you will buy. These products are very useful because they are products people use everyday. For revenue, it within the range of $15-$150. I reinvest some of the profits, use some to pay for the fees of an investment course I undertook and also for other personal needs.

Loan Proposal

I will buy these ingredients; chilli pepper, ginger, shrimps, vegetable cooking oil, onions, smoked herrings, garlic and tin tomatoes for the preparation of pepper sauce (shito). I will need some bottles for packaging and also a label to brand the pepper sauce. I will distribute it to some supermarkets. I will need like $95 for the start. This will help me to raise money for other business projects I want to undertake, also I will be able to help my dad take care of my 7 siblings and also help create job opportunities for other people. I'm expecting a profit increase of 20%-30%.

My previous loan was invested in my business as planned but along the line I had resign from my old job and stay at home for 5months before I got a new one this September. I will say for the 5months I had to depend on both the capital and profit from my business and also support my younger brother who is in the university now. This accounted for my irregular repayments. So in all I will say the loan helped me greatly in these last 5months of my stay at home. Once again thank you to my lenders.

I have to reduce the installment amount due to unforeseen circumstances. The loan really helped me boost my production. Thanks to my lenders and sorry for the delay in payments.

For now I'm doing this with the help of my mom and brother. We have already spoken to some shop owners who are ready to take some for retail. I believe the feedback from customers will be very very positive and I know that this business will grow and create job opportunities for more people. Proceeds will be ploughed back into the business. Thanks to my lender once again......

    Hi Dorothy,

I think you have a few days to go and may our dear Lenders support you and your business.
But please, does this application belongs to who? Because, the photo appears you and someone else. So I think if you can specify yourself it will help. Thank your and good luck for you business.
