About Me

I am Grace Mwende Gulani.I come from Mukurwe-ini,Central Kenya.Born in Kiambu district by Mr and Mrs Gatimu.I am a wife to Mr.Wilfred Waweru. We are blessed with two children (a boy and girl)a boy is the youngest with four years old.Me and my family are Christians and we do worship at the Faith Church,Mukurwe-ini Alter, under Bishop Mulama.I do work as a pharmacist for my daily upkeep and I own a chemist here in Mukurwe-ini.Thank you

My Business

I own a chemist shop here in Kamweni shopping center,Mukurwe-ini.My chemist is licensed by the Drugs and poisons board through the Ministry of Health, and also inspected by the local authority and issued a working permit.
I normally open my chemist from 8.00 am to 7;30 pm from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays i open at 2;pm and closes at 6;30 pm.Most of my customers are the inhabitants of the neighbouring villages.I opened my small chemist after I realised how the villagers were struggling to get the health services at about 2 killometers from their respective villages. That is why I chose to come back to my proffessional work and opened the chemist.
In my chemist i offer my customers with doctor's prescribed medicines, sell original & generic drugs depending on the customers pocket. Most of my customers are low income earners, thus I sell the medicines to them at a discounted prices, which is making them to come always whenever they are sick or whenever they have prescription from their doctor.
My monthly sales do vary from Kes.60,000 to 85,000.After my net expenses I am left with an average of Kes.12,000 net profit. Most of my profit do revolves back to the business by purchasing more stock.
I am kindly requesting Zidisha microfinance Organization to kindly support my chemist so that I can be able to purchase more drugs especially this season, the town is heavily raining ,thus making the customers to come for the anti-malarial drugs. It is my earnest prayer that you will boost my business to serve more custromers and the entire community for their good health.Regards.

Loan Proposal

Thank you Zidisha for the continuous support in my chemist business. The first loan was of great help in my chemist, which made me to buy bulk drugs from the ministry of Health depot.
I am seeking for a second loan from you again to expand my business.Through the second I am planning to buy the following:

(2)24 pcs Mosquito nets at a cost of Kes.4,500.In Dollars is=45
(3)Adult Anti-malaria medicines(tablets ) at a cost of Kes.2,200.In Dollars is=22.10
The above goods will make my chemist offer the best services to all since I will buy them at a Distributor price .This will make my store to offer the services to my loyal customers on time and at afriendly price.I invite all the willing lenders to contribute in my second loan,so that I can buy more bulk drugs to beat the higher demand in my location.Thank you all in advance.
