About Me

I am born in the family of five children where am the second born in the family. The first born is a boy and I a girl. As in the African culture girls are not given equal treatment to boys, so I had to some difficulties as a girl child of which during my schooling every time after school I had to my mother in her household chores as the culture dictated. The boys had all opportunities to plan and concentrate on studies.
In such conditions I did not perform well to join high school. Therefore opted to join to start a small business of green grocery so that to earn myself a living. The land where I am living is flat with some seasonal rivers, there are a lot of coconut trees and many people use it as a source of income. They sell the tree for coconuts, timber, makuti for thatching, etc.
I have one child and she really admire to be a business woman like her mother once she grow up. My unique hobby when passing time that is that I have to travel to several places to know more about business for I am so much interested in it.

My Business

In my business I am dealing with household supplies.
The goods I provide are house hold like fruits & vegetables (kitchen stuffs). The goods are in demand because each and every person must eat and where I live there many people living around and the people who are in this business are not many.
The reason why I choose this business is because I am near to the main market where the supply of this goods are plenty.
The typical cost of this business for one is paying the municipal council just only twenty shillings per day and so I see the returns are good. The profit I get from this small business I use it in school fees for my kid, buy food, clothing and the rest put it back into business to increase my stock.

Loan Proposal

I have been struggling a lot to balance my little profit and the capital I started with to make my ends meet but I get it unbearable since my stock is small. so the profit I get is used all to pay school fees and buy little household and they are offer. so I request you if you given me a little loan I can increase my stock level to boost the profit margin and as well enable me erect a firm shed to protect me from adverse sun and rain while at busines.
Thank you in advance zidisha
