My name is Schollar Chepkoech Rotich. I am married and blessed with two boys Ben and Gilbert aged 4 years and 8 months respectively. I am currently 28 years old and a third born in a family of five.
I was born in Njoro in Nakuru county and moved to Baruti village after I got married and this is where we currently reside. Due to financial constraints, I could not study beyond form four.
I have a fashion shop in Kaptembwo estate where I sell ready made clothes and shoes especially for ladies and kids.
My hobbies are adventure, watching TV and reading inspirational articles.
I own and ran a fashion shop at Kaptembwo estate in the outskirts of Nakuru town located just opposite Mother Kevin academy and this is where I spend most of the time. The business is good and has supported us all along.
I sell mostly ready made ladies and children wear- both clothes and shoes.
The business has been very important in sustaining our family and have plans to improve by reaching more customers with new product especially new year.
I would like to expand my business by reaching new customers with new products. I am therefore planning to invest the loan on new clothes as well as adding inventory for the existing types.
I will therefore use $80 on new clothes and the remaining $20 on transport to and from Eastleigh- Nairobi where I acquire new clothes on wholesale.
Increasing the inventory will increase profits by about 30% which will go to repaying the loan and saving for other investments in future.
