My name is Betty Bii. I am married to Josphat Bii and we are blessed with two boys aged 1 and 3 years. I am currently 27 years old and the first born in a family of six. I was born in Sotik in Bomet County. I moved to Kapsoit in Kericho after I got married and this is where we currently reside. Due to financial constraints, I could not study beyond form four.
After we got married, my husband and I established a fashion shop at Kapsoit Shopping Centre in order to supplement our income. I sell ready-made clothes and shoes, especially for ladies and kids.
My hobbies are adventure, watching TV and visiting friends.
I own and run a fashion shop at Kapsoit Shopping Centre located along Kericho- Kisumu Road, and this is where I spend most of the time. The business is good and has supported us all along.
We sell mostly ready-made ladies' and children's wear, both clothes and shoes. The demand is good though limited by inadequate stock.
The business has been very important in sustaining our family and we have plans to improve by reaching more customers with new products.
Over the last one year, my business has often been limited by limited stock. With the loan, I would like to expand my business by increasing the customer base, reaching them with new products like menswear shoes and clothes. I will therefore use all the $100 on new clothes and shoes. The increased profits will help me repay the loan with ease and save for other investments in the future.
