About Me

Am a lady of twenty eight years old. After I finished my standard eight class I was unable to join secondary school because my parents were not able enough. They managed to take me to a polytechinic , where I trained dressmaking and completed with a pass .Now I am an experienced dressmaker.I decided do to business after I was being employed by other several business people within Makindu uppermarket back four years. My desicion came after realising that my salary was not serving my needs. I got married recently and I look forward to having a happy family in Gods grace.

My Business

My business is operating a tailoring shop.Initially my business was at Makindu upper market whereby I later trasffered it to Kitengela town in Nairobi This was due to having so many competitors in the town resulting to low business Kitengela is a always busy town and business does well here .My business is small and about three years old but I look foward to expand if i get more capital. I want to use this first loan to buy one additional sewing machine of around $100 and sewing materials of about $38, then employ another person in order to improve my productivity and efficiency. This will make my customers appreciate more of my work and services.

Loan Proposal

I will use $300 to purchase new garments for selling. This is because most of people are in hurry that they cant fit garments and wait till they are made because time schedule of their events. The remaing $150 will be used for purchasing anew overlock sewing machine for my dressmaking business. I am getting this service fro my neighbouring business people who do it very costy.

I have started building my house permanently so i have to budget for it and also do repayment so i decided to reschedule. Before i used to stay in a semi permanent house whereby i used not to buy and keep any thing expensive in my house. As time went my colleague told me unless you start buying building materials one by one and keep just waiting to buy them at once it will be impossible. I decided to renovate the house that i was living so as to be able to keep my building materials.I started by putting a metal door.I am almost ready with materials now i want to commence construction. kindly i request lenders and zidisha family at large to allow me reschedule my repayments due to this reason .Thanks all.

    Dear Mwongeri,
I am happy that your loan was funded and wish you much success! If you have the chance, I would be interested to see photos of the clothes you buy and make. I like to sew for fun, but I am not good enough to make garments.
