About Me

Am Kenyan in mid 20s of age living in Githurai Nairobi. I have completed college level education. I come from a family 6 siblings (three brothers and 2 sisters) and we grew up in western Kenya. Am single and my hobbies are watching football, travelling and listening to music. Above all I like doing community work during my leisure time like nature conservation. Through my business am able to support my basic needs and also support my younger brother like paying rent for my room, food, clothing and medication.

My Business

I have a Bachelors degree in biomedicine with IT but I was unable to get a biomedical job after I graduated. So I started a Mobile Photo studio business- where I do photo shop and photo shooting for customers in my neighborhood which are meant for business promotion and advertisement. Also for domestic purposes like in cases of weddings and other mini events. From the business am able to get an average net profit of about Ksh 10000 (~US$115) per month. One day I would like to expand my business and run a photo studio from a fixed location.

Loan Proposal

Through the loan I get I will be able to improve my business by; buying a photocopying printer worthy approximately US$ 50. Though still my budget will be is way above the loan I get , I need 60 dollars for renting a business room per month, 10 dollars for electricity bills, 30 dollars for buying printing papers. This in turn will result to an increased income since currently I spend much on printing photos and stuff.
From the returns to business the first priority will be paying for my monthly loan installments , add stock to the business, meet my daily basic needs for my dependents and myself like food , clothing and medication.
Though my business is still young I will wish to establish an up to date photo studio and increase the coverage area hence increased customer pool

Hello there good people,
After along and hard October month where there was minimal cash flow in my business i was able to deposit my weekly installment today and am happy that i did it. Am looking forward for more cash flow as the year ends.

hi,
am very happy that through the loan i acquired i was able to buy a second hand 3 in 1 photocopy machine and now i can earn extra income since i don't spend much on printing photo for my customers. Above all am able to render photocopying, scanning and printing services to other customers.
