About Me

I live in Kabachia Estate Nakuru Town, Nakuru County opposite ebony wooden gate plot number 146.i did my diploma in food and beverage from riftvalley institute of science and technology and completed in 2010.I started the business od selling second hand clothers in the year 2013 this was to suplement the earnings i get from working as a waiter in the near by hotel because the living standards in nakuru are very high. The money i get from the sale of the clothes l use pay my bills and also take my son to school.my hobbies are playing hockey, cooking and singing.i sing in the church and am in the church choir and intercessory team at our church.

My Business

i sell clothes at club road next to okilgei hotel nakuru town stall number 6.I sell variety of clothes both men and ladies clothes and even kids second hand clothes. i have a strong customer base being that l provide variety of clothes and also i have a good customer relation with my customers who are regular.my stall is frequently visited by customers because its next to transport point where many vehicles plying different routes park as the wait for people to board.the challenge that i face is the change in prices of the clothes that are dependent on the transport costs that are influenced by fuel prices in kenya.the profits that i get from the business ranges between USD 100 TO USD 120 per month.the profit got i use to buy new stocks; which l source from nairobi and nakuru and also pay my bills.this business helps me to supplement what is formally earn from employment.

thanks zidisha team for providing us with the opportunity to access the loans for the organisation.when i get he loan i will use $80 to buy second hand clothes for resale.this will help me source for the clothes that are appealing to my customers.the remaining $20 will be used to transport the clothes from the different sources where second hand quality clothes are found in Nairobi and within Nakuru markets. The revenue from this sale will enable me to buy more stocks and diversify and also be able to pay my bills and supplement my earnings from the salary i draw from working in a hotel.
