About Me

My name is Boakye John. I came from Techiman but I currently stay at Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I am 26 years old. I am dark in complexion and moderately built. My parents are Mr. and Mrs. Boakye. I am from a family of seven and I am the eldest. I started my basic school at Techiman Methodist basic school.I also went to Techiman Senior High School. After completing my senior high Education, My parents died as a result of a fatal accident. Therefore life becomes more difficult for myself and my younger siblings. Since I am the eldest, It be hoofs on me to take care of my younger siblings.
I then went to a friend who deals in sale of home second-hand electronic appliances to offer a helping hand so that I can get some money at the end of the day to feed my younger siblings. I worked with him for about two years and due to my loyalty, he gave an amount of $100 to establish my own business. I also establish my own business which deals in the sale of home second-hand electronic appliances.
One thing very unique about the Techiman people is the celebration of the yam festival called Apoo. The celebration is very interesting to observe. It is my dream and ambition to educate at least four of my younger siblings to the tertiary level of the educational ladder. The food I like best is fufu and fish soup. My hobbies are reading, watching football matches and swimming.

My Business

The name of my business is 'God Is My Provider Ventures'. I started this business since 2011. I started this business with the help from a friend. I started this business with an amount of $150. My business deals with the sale of home supplies such as TV set, Home theater system, Woofers, Electric fans, Electric irons etc. I decided to do this kind of business because of the high demand for home second-hand electronic appliances. Due to this, my weekly profit keeps on increasing. I manage to get about $45 every week. My dream is to expand this business so that I will increase my profit margin and also help educate my younger siblings to the tertiary level of the Educational ladder.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders l wish to apply for a loan of $100 to expand my secondhand electronic appliances business. When given this loan, I will use it to expand my business by purchasing more second-hand electronic appliances such as TV set, Home theater, Ghetto Blaster, Electric irons, Electric Fans etc to fill my shop. Dear lenders, the amount I have is not enough so please help me. It is my aim and vision to increase my profit margin by 50% in the next two months so that I can educate my younger siblings to highest level of education. When this loan is given to me, it will help increase my profit margin by 50% and will also help me achieve my aim so please come to my aid. Thank you
