About Me

I was born in Nairobi city to a single mother. Interestingly my mum was a street girl who ran to the streets of Nairobi at age 15 after siring me as her first born. I grew up in the streets snipping glue until i was rescued at age 10 years. I was taken to a rehabilitation center where i grew up and got primary education to class eight.
During my life in the streets, we used to collect waste plastics with other street children to sell to recycling plants at industrial area.
In this way i learnt the value of waste paper. After graduating from the children's home and having been equipped with entrepreneurship skills, i was ready to do business, however, i had nowhere to put up my business and had nowhere to call home.
I decided to go back to my grandparents where am staying up to now.
From grandmother's home, i learnt how to sell sweets at a bus station. However, the council law enforcers dint give us humble time for business.

My Business

Having learnt the value of waste paper and waste plastics, i realized there was great opportunity to get around and collect the useless waste papers and make them into good use as nobody bothered on them.
I invented a small drum where i started, burning the plastics to make liquid that i could bore to a mold like pipe that could produce smart plastic fences ideal for fencing around the compound for flowers. Luckily my home is right opposite a big Redeemed church. one day, a senior pastor spotted my products and was impressed. They gave me an order to give the church 30such products to fence their flower bed. This was the first time i made cash out of what i started as an invention of its kind in the area.
From then, the revenue that i get, i use to increase waste plastics by paying street children to collect them for me. I am looking forward to expanding my business in future.
