About Me

My name is Beth Wangui 27years old. I was born in a small village called Bahati in Nakuru town, Nakuru county rift valley province in Kenya. Im the second Born in a family of eight childrens. i went to Bahati primary school where I sat for my Kenya certificate of Primary education KCPE and passed with B+. where i was the best student that year. I was previlled to be among Ten student who were enlisted to join Shinners girls High school in form one and due to my Hard work, I secured a four year sponsorship to from community development Fund to pay my school fees for four years.
After I had completed my High school, i returned Home but life was not easy as my parents were jobless and could not afford to pay my university fees and this situation forced me to think about what i can do in order to pay my university fees and this is how I started doing small scale farming in order to achieve my goals.

My Business

my Business deals specifically small scale farming where I grow cash crops such as Cabbages, Potatoes, Onions and potatoes. This goods and services are useful and high in demand since this crops are stable food in our community and most people depends on it for food and this makes them in High demand.
i chose to start this business because it is easy to start since the capital required to start is affordable as long as one has a Land to till. the typical cost of my business is 600US Dollars with a weekly profit of 200US Dollars.
The profits that I get from this Business I use it to pay school fees for my kids , save for the expansion of my business and pay my outstanding zidisha loan and home improvement. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, given this loan, i will buy the following farm input to boost my farming business. 300US Dollars I will buy Fertilizers that I will use for planting, 200US Dollars I will buy farming tool to make cultivation easy and 100US Dollars I will Buy Pesticide for my crops.
This Business will be useful to me and my community people since they will be able to get fresh farm products at an affordable prices directly from the farm without using brokers and also it will help create employment since most youth are unemployed and will use my business as a role model to start their own. I expect given this loan my Business profit will increase from 20 US Dollars daily to 50 US Dollars thank you.
