About Me

My name is Zipora Ayuma 26years old. I was born in Kakamega western part of kenya. Im the second born in a family of five childrens. I went to maraba primary school where I attended primary education and passed very well. I was called to join a national school but due to lack of funds my parents could not afford because they were poor. I then started assisting my mother doing farm jobs and looking for animals. This made me to think outside the box and start making masai traditional Bangles and beauty items to sell them so that i can get some money to pay for my school fees.
I started selling them to the local people at the village and many people liked them and this is where i started this business.

My Business

my Business deals with making traditional jewelary and ornaments and sell them to the local people at lower and affordable price. My main aim is to earn incom by promoting my traditional culture. This goods are very important in my community because many people like them and also attracts tourists hence creating employment to the people in the community. I choose this besiness because i depends on locally manufactured materials hence lowering the cost and maximizing profit. The cost of this business is 200 dollas. The profits that I get from this business, part of it i pay my collage fees, support my parents and other younger brothers to pay fees for them.
The remaining profits i use to pay my loan and Business expansion.

Loan Proposal

Hi lenders, Given this Loan, I will increase stock to my Beauty shop which will cost 100dollas. Traditional Beads will cost 25 dollas, jewellary will cost 50 dollas and Strings to hold beads will cost 25 dollars. Given this loan, it will increase my daily profit from 15dollas daily to35dollas and also create employment to others through tourism to the community.
