About Me

Am Makafui Letsa, a young man of 25year of age and a final year student of Accra Polytechnic . I hailed from Akatsi in the sourthen part of volta region of Ghana. I come from a humble family of which my mother is peasant farmer and my father is a mason . They have tried their best to provide for our education but it is still not easy for us, i have to learn how to KENTEY CLOTH which is a major work of the youth in my area to help pay my fees at school, but what we do is to make it in pieces and the buyers comes from Kumasi ans Accra travel to buy from us as they know that we are in need of money they pays very little, currently am doing my national service at Abor General Hospital in the Volta Region of Ghana

My Business

At my second year at Accra polytechnic a friend and i travel one day to CENTRE OF ARTS AND CULTURE ( ARTS CENTRE) at Accra and i saw people with Kentey product at their shops, the Kentey Cloth and the shirt known as Batakali, i learnt from them that this is where our buyer have been selling, since then i was looking for capital to try and when i finally started my national service i try with part of my allawance and i saw the result myself almost 50% profit excluding transportation i started with the little money three times every week since am still doing the service. i need this Zidisha loan to buy more so i can get more profit, paying back the loan is no problem as am getting allowance every month and doing the business three times a week. Kente is a cloth or fabric local to Ghana and nearby West African countries. It is thought that Kente Cloth was inspired by the weaving patterns of a spider as it weaves it’s web. It is formally used by Chiefs of Akan land but now all Chiefs in Ghanaian community use it and Pastors also use it, thanks

Loan Proposal

Am using the loan to buy Kentey from my village and sell it at Accra as the the profit is high and nice opportunity to make money, i do the business three times a week and each time i get about 50% profit excluding my transportation fees and i need this loan to buy more paying back is no problem to me, all i need is the loan to buy more and get more profit, i have a lot of customers who need more so, i do not have problem selling, thanks
