About Me

My name is Hillary Ohala,I went to Bulanda primary school and successfully completed primary school.Thereafter I joined Lumakanda Boys high school.and completed secondary school. At this point i lost both parents.I went to a local polytechnic and graduated with certificate in computer science. I later joined agriculture training college and got a certificate in pig management.
I am married with four kids ,they are all schooling .I love them and intend to educate them to the highest level i can.
During my free time i like visiting friends and socializing and attending to my pigs.

My Business

I am a small commercial pig farmer, currently i have two pigs a female and a male. The female one is due by mid next months and I am expecting 10 piglets. The demand for pork and products has been on the rise in my country and this gives me a reason to cease this opportunity.
i choose to keep pigs because the demand is high, and the require less land. In a month I use $130 to buy feeds and drugs for the pigs, my monthly revenues are $250 from the sell of pigs waste to mushroom growing firm. A mature pig goes for $600 while piglets goes for $60
I use my proceeds for general living expenses, medication and fees for my children and one orphaned kid I adopted.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders I am requesting you to help me raise my loan so that ,i can buy iron sheets ,to expand my piggery unit to accommodate 10 more piglets expected by the end of mid November 2014. The costs involved are $100 for iron sheets,$50 for timber and nails.I have save $50 only and I am appealing to you to help me raise the loan so that I can adequately prepare to receive the piglets and avoid deaths due to in-conducive environment. Thank you
