About Me

Am Bizara born1974 and am a widow with three children one girl and two boys am staying in mtwapa with my children.there all in school the first born is called zainabu aged 14years and she is in standard six, second born is called Hussein he is in class two and the third one is called Jamal and he is in kg 2.currently am running a business at kongowea market, place.my education background is class seven and i couldnot proceed on due to the financial background. i started the said business in order to maintain my living standard with my family as well to educate my children.i do pay school fees for my children buy food for my family and pay shelter. and the rest use to maintain my business.

My Business

My business is selling onions in large cartons to the retailers. the demand is very high because everybody buys onions for their home use. onions has a high demand because many people use onions for their home use for cooking.my customers prefer coming to my business place because i do pack my onions very well, i make i do clean them before packing them in the nett.i do smile with my clients and ell giving them a reasonable price to make them come back again to me. my business is profitable because iam buying one big sack of onions at sh 6,000 and i pack them in a small size nett sack. so the big sack gives me 9 small sacks of onions after packing them am selling the small size at 850 sh per sack gives me 7,650 ksh so for every one big sack am getting 1,650sh so if i buy 15 big sacks then am having 24,750 my profit. the risks is during the rainy season i find clients coming to buy them once they get contacted with water they all get frozen.

Loan Proposal

It festive season and businesses are very active at this period so for a business to do better you should have enough stock. I want to add 2 sacks of potatoes , 2 nets of onions and also get more fruits. And because of this festive season mtwapa is much populated and for this reason i also want to start selling chips and sausages.
