About Me

I was born on 1 January 1956 in lower Yantala, Niamey, Niger. A graduate with a BA, I am a gardener and I work hard to feed my family. Although my training was in plumbing (Water Supply), the economic crisis of 1982-1989 led me to practice gardening in order to support myself. I am married with eight children, four boys and four girls. I am also an elder and deacon in the Goudel Baptist Church in Niamey. As well, I am responsible for the NGO Puginma which teaches literacy to women in rural areas.

My Business

As a gardener I sell vegetables: lettuce, leeks, parsley, celery, corn, mint, etc.. I sell mostly to women who resell the produce at the market. I also buy vegetable seeds, mainly different varieties of greens such as lettuce, Batavia, paloma, and Chinese lettuce that I sell to other gardeners who sometimes lack seeds.

In the future I will wish to buy sesame and prepare it with sugar and try to sell it in the stores and restaurants.

Loan Proposal

I will pay for the seeds for lettuce and parsley and then plant them and then sell the leaves and seeds. The loan of 50000CFA will allow me to make 30000 in 45 days.
My business grows by 20% and that's allowed me retain my clients by offering them more. I can support the schooling of my children and at the same time better their nutrition.

About Me

Je suis né le 1er Janvier 1956 à Yantala-bas Niamey Niger. Titulaire du Bac A, je suis jardinier et me bats pour nourrir ma famille. Bien que suis plombier de formation (Adduction d'eau), la crise économique de 1982 à 1989 m'a poussé à pratiquer le jardinage pour pouvoir subvenir à mes besoins. Je suis marié à une épouse ayant 8 enfants, 4 garçons et 4 filles. Je suis également ancien et diacre à l'Eglise Baptiste de Goudel à Niamey. Aussi, je suis responsable de l'ONG Puginma qui intervient dans l'alphabétisation en milieu rural avec les femmes.

My Business

En tant que de jardinier je suis vendeur de légumes: salades, poireaux, persil, céleri, maïs, la menthe, etc. Je vends principalement aux femmes qui revendent au marché. Aussi j'achète les semences de légumes principalement les différentes variétés de salade telle la laitue, batavia, paloma, le chinois que je revends aux autres jardiniers qui manquent de fois de semences.
A l'avenir je souhaiterai acheter le sésame et préparer cela avec du sucre et tenter de revendre ça au niveau des magasins et restaurants.

Loan Proposal

Je payerai des semences de salades et de persil pour planter et ensuite vendre les feuilles et les semences. ce prêt de cinquante mille (50000 fcfa) me permettra de gagner trente mille (30000 fcfa) en 45 jours.
Mon business croitra de 20% et me permettra de fidéliser les clients actuels en ayant une plus grande offre. Je pourrai soutenir la scolarité de mes enfants et en même temps améliorer leur alimentation en légumes frais.
