About Me

I am called Sanou Oumar, I was born in Bobo in 1969 I took my primary school at Koko de Bobo school just to the third level. I am married, father to two children, one boy and one girl. I took studies with an NGO on how to plant and make a nursery. My home village is Bobo my father has a field in Bobo and I made a demand for a fountain from the Burkinabe state, I was lucky, in 2002 the state gave me the fountain in my father's field and they also gave me the funds to start my garden, in the same year I made three hundred meters of garden, I put in many different things, like tomato, lettuce, cabbage, eggplant, cucumber. I am always going to the research center to learn to better my garden. I have two machines which irrigate my plants. I irrigate every morning and every night, and treat the plants two times a month with good quality products recommended by the researchers.

My Business

My gardening activity dominates our days. I have a garden of more then 500 meters, I work with more then six employees and my wife helps as well. I work all through the year without rest. I am currently a teacher and my garden is used as a school garden by those specializing in agriculture. I sell seeds for other gardeners and I also have gained contracts to help sow different varieties. I sell my products every day to restaurants and retailers in the country and I travel with my products to the Ivory Coast. I don't do other work then this, but I can pay for the clothing for my family and care for them. I pay my workers 1500 CFA each daily. I ask for support from Zidisha to grow my garden and to make other gardens in the provinces, and to do more studies and to better the crops. I will do everything possible to respect the terms of repayment of the loan, I wish long life to Zidisha and it's members.

I sell my products every day to restaurants and retailers in the country and I travel with my products to the Ivory Coast. I don't do other work then this, but I can pay for the clothing for my family and care for them. I pay my workers 1500 CFA each daily. About Me

Je m’appelle Sanou Oumar je suis née a bobo en 1969 j’ai fait mon école primaire à l’école de koko de bobo jusqu’à la troisième. Je suis marié père de deux enfants un garçon et une fille. J’ai suivi une formation avec un ONG sur comment faire la culture mare chaire, comment planter et faire une pépinière. Mon village natal est à bobo mon papa à un champ à bobo et j’ai fait une demande de fontaine au niveau de l’état burkinabè, j’ai eu la chance en deux mille deux l’état m’a accorder une fontaine dans le champ de mon père et ils m’ont donné aussi des fonds pour démarrer mon jardin, dans la même année j’ai fait trois cent mètres de jardin ou j’ai mis beaucoup de variété comme tomate, salade, choux, aubergines, concombre et du piment. Je suis les cours avec le centre de recherche pour améliorer toujours mon jardin. J’ai deux machines qui tirent l’eau pour arroger les plantes. J’arroge mon jardin tous les matins et tous les soirs, et les traitements je le fait deux fois dans le mois avec des produits de bonne qualité consigné par les formateurs.

Mon activité de jardinage est rentable de nos jours. J’ai un jardin de plus de cinq cent mètres, je travaille avec plus de six employés et ma femme qui m’aide aussi. Je travaille durant toute l’année sans repos. Je suis actuellement formateur et mon jardin est utilisé comme jardin école par les agents spécialise d’agriculture. Je vends des graines pour les autres jardiniers et je gagne aussi des contrats pour aider à semer des variétés.
