About Me

Very active woman with organizations promoting women's condition, entrepreneur initiating several development programs helping vulnerable groups. Married woman doing business. I am married and a mother of 5, with 2 daughters and 3 sons. I have lived in my husband's home in Dakar for more than 15 years. I have 4 sisters and 3 brothers. I have pursued an education in general teaching and attended several trainings programs related to the improvement on woman's condition.

My Business

I sell household items and woman's beauty products. The merchandise is purchased in bulk in stores and resold in the peri-urban neighborhood of Parcelles Assainies. The business of woman's products is prosperous and my profit margin of retail merchandise is in the order of 20%. Each month, my net benefits reach 250000FCFA. Outside of the retail store rent and ancillary fees, the majority of my expenses are related to procurement of merchandise.
The loan from Zidisha will give me the opportunity to increase my business through regular stocking to meet my client's needs.

Loan Proposal

I am making a new application with Zidisha with the experience of the first that I have used for my business and I was able to do business, although at some point I had some difficulties to sell my products. I will use this second loan to further strengthen my business in order to buy new products to sell.
