About Me

I was born and raised in Toulel Thialle. I am married and the mother of four children, six girls and two boys, and I'm of the Poular ethnicity. I come from a large family, nine brothers and six sisters. My father had two wives. I didn't attend school because my parents said that a girl's place is in the home. In the kitchen I helped my mother, and I also worked with livestock breeding in the countryside since it was women who did all the work. I went to Dakar to marry a cousin. I live 400 km from the capital. Our village is difficult to get to, it takes nearly two days on the road.

My Business

I am a merchant who sells milk and porridge. I have a table in front of me that I attend to from 6 pm to midnight because I have clients who come down very late and I have to wait for them. For the water I pay 3,000 CFA per month. I want the loan in order to buy a stock of wheat and sugar bags which would allow me to make more profits and thus save more. Clients seek my goods and I absolutely need capital to purchase goods in order to serve my clients.

Loan Proposal

I wish to make a second request for a loan after already repaying my first loan with Zidisha. The second I ask from you will serve to benefit my buisness, I expect to augment my merchandise to grow my client base, I will be happy if you will finance this second loan because my clients are loyal to my product and are always waiting for it.

je suis née et grandit a toulel thialle je suis mariée et mére de sixs enfants dont quatres filles et deux garçons je suis d'ethnie poular j'ai neufs fréres et sixs soeurs je suis issue d'une grande famille mon pére avait deux femmes j'ai pas fais des études puisse les parents disaient que les filles leur place et a la maison et dans a cuisine j'aidais ma mére dans l'élévage et dans les champétres puissent que c'etait les femmes qui fesaient tout le travail je suis venue a dakar pour me mariée avec un cousin j'habite a 400km de la capitale notre village n'a pas de route pour venir on fais presque deux jours de route

je siuis vendeuse de lait et de la bouillie j'ai une table devant chez moi je commence a 18 h pour terminer a minuit parce que j'ai des clients qui descendent trés tard et je dois les attendre je paye l'eau a 3000 fcfa le mois je veux le pret pour pouvoir acheter un stock de blé et des sacs de sucre qui me permetra d'avoir des benefices et de pouvoir economiser. Les clients sollicitent mes marchandises et il me faut impérativement un fonds de roulement pour faire des achats en marchandises afin de pouvoir servir ma clientèle.
