About Me

I am single and I was born in Thies in 1981. I have brothers and sisters and my parents are also from Thies. I have been living in Dakar for 10 years with one of my sister. I do not have a job, I just find activities that give me freedom and independance. I intend to develop a breeding business. I spent all my childhood years in Thies and I stopped going to school after the 5th grade.

My Business

My business consists in breeding sheeps. I intend to buy 10 six months old sheeps that I will fatten during a three months period and I will sell them the day before the Tabaski celebration. I could buy the 10 sheeps for 250 000 CFA and sell them for 750 000 CFA three months later, so I could make a profit of 50 000 CFA for each sheep and that will make me a trader.

Loan Proposal

I am a mobile vendor. The loan will enable me to replenish my inventory. I plan to buy shoes, belts, pants, and shirts for men and women. 50000FCFA for men's and women's shoes, 50000FCFA for belts, 50000FCFA for pants, 50000FCFA for shirts, and 50000FCFA for miscellaneous items.

    Dear Lenders,

My name is Michael Riley and I am the current Client Relations Manager here in Dakar, Senegal. Today I had the opportunity to meet Abdoulaye Sarr and deliver him his loan, that you have funded. Abdoulaye is a very dynamic individual who works hard to contribute to the expenses of his family. Living in Dakar can be very difficult, especially with rising cost of living and rising food prices. Unemployment is rampant and it is for this reason that many entrepreneurs, such as Abdoulaye, throw themselves into a variety of economic activities. There had been a bit of confusion because Abdoulaye describes his business as the breeding of sheep for the holiday season of Tabaski but the purpose of the loan describes the usage of funds to augment his commerce activities. In fact, when Abdoulaye first created his account it was before the Tabaski holiday so he was engaged in the sheep business at that time, now that the holiday has passed he is back to his buying and selling of clothes and shoes activities, which is what this loan will ultimately benefit. Abdoulaye from time to time also uses his personal car to run transport service for people in his neigborhood. In Dakar, there are cars called Calandos, which take people short distances back and forth in a certain area, it is a very important service because it is much cheaper than a taxi which people normally have trouble affording and offers more efficient transport than the buses which arrive at irregular times and are very crowded. Abdoulaye has been able to take advantage of all of these informal business ventures because of the extreme difficulty of finding official employment. Rest assured that Abdoulaye is a hardworking individual with no shortage of ideas, it is his creativity and drive that supports his family and his ambition to have a content life. Thank you for your support lenders.

    Dear lenders,
The time to complete my project is coming, I count on your support to realize this project. It is a promising field that I know very well, and it is not the first time that I invest myself.
