About Me
I'm Aminata Camara, a mother of five children, and I live with my husband who is retired. I do small trade, selling palm oil and other goods for the kitchen such as vegetables, etc. I live in a house so I do not pay rent, but I have a garage which I renovated and turned into a warehouse. My husband encouraged me a lot and helped me to start. I also won a tontine (group investment share) that helped me start my business and I learned a lot in training. Now I even give lessons to women who are in need and I thank Zidisha for its support to women. Most of our group is funded by Zidisha and we will do all that is possible to meet the payment.
My Business
I've been in business for over 10 years but with my family I could not save much. Still, I got experience and knowledge from managing my own money to meet my family's needs. Now I want to improve my business by expanding my range of products. If Zidisha finances me, I will realize my dream. I want to go to the sub-region and interact with other traders, because I have knowledge that can put me in contact with people who work in fairs to help me better expand my business. The work is not easy with the crisis, but I have the experience and dedication to work hard.

Je m’appelle aminata camara mère de famille j’ai 5 enfants suis vivent avec moi mon mari est un retraité je fais le petit commerce en vendant de l’huile de palme, et d’autre marchandises pour la cuisine comme les légumes, etc. J’habite dans ma maison je ne paie pas de loyer mais j’ai un garage ou j’ai aménagé pour vendre la bas et mon mari m’a beaucoup encourager et aider pour le démarrage, j’avais gagné un tontine dont j’ai démarré mes activités et j’ai appris beaucoup de choses dans la formation des femmes et je donner même des cours aux femmes qui sont dans le besoin et je remercie zidisha pour l’aide qu’il apporte aux femmes. La majeure partie de nos groupes est financé par zidisha et nous ferons tous nos possibles pour respecter le paiement.

Maintenant je veux améliorer mon commerce en élargissant mes marchandises si zidisha me finance je réaliserai mon rêve et je veux aller dans la sous région échanger avec d’autres commerçantes et j’ai des connaissances qui veux me mettre en contact avec des gens qui travaille dans les foires pour m’aider à mieux élargir mon commerce. Le travail n’est pas facile avec la crise mais j’ai l’expérience et le dévouement du travail.
