About Me

My name is Aladji Diop and I have a diploma in computer management, accounting and marketing. I am 38 and Senegalese. I sell computer products and offer computer services.

My Business

All of my business is based on computers, which is booming despite a lack of investment. I sell hardware - monitors, desk drives ect. I am applying for a loan of 350 000 CFA to increase my supplies. I will use this loan to buy computer products and accesories - desk drives, screens, motherboards. I had once received a loan of 800 000 FCFA from Liverpool Technologie GIE, which I completely repaid. This loan allowed me to start my computer business. Its interest rate was 7% and comprised of 20 monthly payments.

Loan Proposal

I will use this loan to buy computer products and accessories - desk drives, screens, motherboards, mice, and resell them.

    Dear lenders,

I am writing with an update regarding our efforts to locate Mr Diop, who disappeared in the summer of last year after repaying 30% of his loan. One of Mr Diop's former acquaintances had told us that Mr Diop had left the country, but we were not able to obtain independent confirmation of this. When I was in Senegal in March this year, Client Relationship Intern Maguette Diop and I visited Mr Diop's last known neighborhood in Dakar and inquired with the residents and community leaders there regarding Mr Diop, but none of them were able to inform us of his whereabouts. This month Maguette met with the mayor of the neighborhood of residence recorded on Mr Diop's national identity card, and the mayor's office was likewise unable to locate him. The legal firm which we had contracted to recover the loan has completed its own investigation without success. We have reported the disappearance and unpaid loan to the local police, so that if Mr Diop is located in the future they will have record of the case and be able to contact us.

I will inform lenders of any further progress we are able to make in locating Mr Diop. Please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] with any questions or comments.

    Best regards,

    Dear lenders,

We have been unable to speak with or meet Mr. Diop, despite visiting his neighborhood and residential and business addresses and inquiring among his neighbors and former employer. Mr Diop's mobile telephone number appears to have been deactivated. One of Mr Diop's acquaintances told us that Mr. Diop has left the country, but if true we were not able to ascertain if or when he is expected to return.

We have signed a contract with a legal firm in Senegal to pursue enforcement of Mr Diop's contract by the local judicial system. This will include serving Mr Diop with a court order at his residential address, and proceeding with a legal suit as necessary to enforce repayment of the loan.

We will keep lenders informed as the legal firm's work progresses. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me with any inquiries or concerns.

    Best regards,

    Julia Kurnia

    Dear lenders,

Mr. Diop has missed several scheduled repayment installments now. I regret to report that after making several promises to make the overdue payments, Mr. Diop is no longer in contact with Zidisha staff. The telephone number he previously used appears to have been disconnected, and he is not responding to calls and emails.

At this point, we are unable to determine whether Mr. Diop has deliberately halted contact with Zidisha, or whether some accident has happened to prevent him from responding to our communications. Our credit history verification partner in Senegal, SEM Fund, is assisting Zidisha to pursue further investigation of the case with the local police.

We will keep Mr. Diop's lenders informed of any developments. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me with any comments or inquiries regarding this loan.

    Chers bailleurs,
Mr Aladji Diop est en retard de remboursement depuis très longtemps et pire, il refuse de répondre à mes appels. Depuis presque un mois, je n'arrive pas à le joindre. A chaque fois, l'appel est interrompu dès les premières sonneries.
    Merci!

First of all, I would like to give a big thank you to the NGO Zidisha, which gave me this wonderful opportunity to get in contact with you, my lenders: Anninyouse, Benedicte, Bodilwdk, cooperowl, Donfiege, Feldborg, Jamesbroderick, Jkurnia, Katpjor, Kondonassis, Marx, Rurumm, Vidarlil and all those who had the good intentions of helping me achieve my objectives on a financial level. I would like to say that I will strive to the limits to win and maintain the confidence you have placed in me.
I would like to tell you all of a joint venture project that I have started that deals with financial security that has never been done before; this project will consist of securing bank transactions and credit cards and bank accounts against global cybercriminality and counterfeit money, and all this is based on linear biometrics. Anyways, I am counting on your long-term supprot so the whole world can benefit from this new idea. Once again, thank you so much.
