Hello dear lenders, it is with regret that I write to you to inform you that I am modifying my repayment schedual due to my husband falling ill. This illness has caused me to stop my work for now, and it is for this reason that I am having difficulty in making regular repayments.

    Dear Lenders,
While visiting clients in the neighborhood of Parcelles Assainies I was able to catch up with Madame Sarr. Madame Sarr is a hard working women who lives with her husband, who happens to be the Chef du Quartier (head of neighborhood), and her children, hers is a highly respected family. Madame Sarr was very vocal in her praise for Zidisha and is extremely grateful to her lenders for having given her the opportunity to increase her business. She is excited about the possibilities Zidisha lenders offer to borrowers in Senegal and is active in recruiting others to join Zidisha.
Concerning her business, Madame Sarr is an expert in the sales of women’s shoes. Her client base is within her neighborhood and she is able to keep her clients informed of the newest and most fashionable styles at the moment. Her business is strong because as she says in Senegal people love to be fashionable and a great emphasis is placed on personal presentation. With the loan that she received recently she was able to purchase a larger supply of shoes for her customers and is benefiting from those sales at present. She explained to me that before she found Zidisha she had the frustration of dealing with high interest rates from banks and credit unions that were just not helping her cause. However with the help of Zidisha, she says that she enjoys the more manageable interest rates.
