I am Peul, my parents are all Peul, we live at Damari in the Kolo department, Tillabery region at the north west of Niamey. My educational context: I am unlettered; I started in the business in order to get a living for my family and also because my father did the same trade. What I want to buy with these benefits are all needed things, cereals, medicines for our health, tuition fees for my children, my brother, the rent, electricity, water and other needs.

je vent des statits animaux et hummain comme lion hyenne elephant margouia chamaux cheval homme et femme les client prefere mon travail parce que je fait un travail corecte bien fait et sans defaut mon entreprise est profitable parce que y a des chose que les gents ne connaise pas comme les animaux sovage pavillon decorer et des trick ancien. aucun risque si ce pas la chariter des matiere priere et la maque des clients par cose du probleme au sahel. les couts mensuel et les revenus sont varier des temps en temps selon les saison ainsi que les benefices mai je veux dire dieu merci sa va un peux sa ira incha alla petetre avec zidisha sa changer les enfant a l ecole et renforcer mon entreprise...etc

First I want to buy bronze, nickel .............for making statues of: hyenas, camels, apes, giraffes, and others of people: men and women Peul, Zarma, Haussa, etc. After buying the bronze and nickel I will first make my object in wax, and put it in banco (gypsum?? translation is uncertain) After 1 or 2 days I start to melt my bronze to have the object in bronze. Then I come to polish (?) and to brush it with american "tol" (?) and after that I take it to the machine for polishing.

    Dear Lenders,
    My name is Ashlee and I am a Communications Associate with Zidisha. We are currently working to help Monsieur Moumini meet the repayments he has missed. Besides being financially unable to meet these, we often find there are three main reasons our borrowers fall into arrears: they may have simply forgotten to make a repayment, we may have had trouble communicating with them to remind them of this, or they may have made a repayment but this has not been properly referenced on the bank statement (meaning without confirmation from the borrower, this cannot be entered on their repayment schedule). With regard to Monsieur Moumini specifically, our biggest challenge has been trying to contact him; this is made even more difficult by bad connections and difficult time zones. As we continue to follow up with him, we ask for your patience as we do. We will keep you updated as best we can.

    Dear lenders,
    My name is Mien, I am Client Relationship Manager for Zidisha in West-Africa. You may have been wondering why this loan, that has been fully financed since a while and also has been accepted by the borrower, has not been disbursed yet. Since one month we have been negotiating with our partner bank in Niger about free disbursement of our loans. The bank has charged us 11900 FCFA (23,60 USD) for each of the first disbursements we did in Niger. It is clear that Zidisha can't accept such fees and we don't want our borrowers to pay them either. Negotiations go on and may result in the decision to start a partnership with a new bank in Niger. We hope to find a solution during the next few days, in order to disburse this and all the other loans in Niger, and in order to guarantee the future development of our Niger program.
