About Me

I am Doris Jerotich, I was born in a humble family, our parents were not well off and we struggled very much but we were able to go through school, later i perused a diploma in purchasing and supplies.
after school i was employed in a flower farm, for seven years and that is where i was able to educate myself and changed my life. after seven years i was able to start my own business, because i felt i needed to be self reliant.
the unique thing about my culture is that women are very enterprising and have become great contributors to the economy.
my children are still very young and one would like to be a doctor another one will want to be a teacher.
my hobby is singing and making new friends.

My Business

I am a business lady, i started doing doing business in 2014, i sell groceries shop majoring on selling cereals such as maize, beans, millet sorghum, rice, groundnuts, wheat. sometimes i sell fruits and vegetables on season. besides i also have an M PESA shop where i operate the business that deals with money popular in kenya.
this are mainly food items that are consumed daily in our place so the demand is high, and that is why i choose to do this business because the turnover is very high.
currently my stock is about 50,000 Kenya shillings and i make a profit of 5,000 monthly after meeting all my expenses.
i use the profit to buy food and clothing for my children, and the remaining i re invest to the business.
