About Me

I am Josphat Kiplangat Chepkwony born 22 years ago in a village called Kipkebe in Silibwet Sub-Location, Township Location, Bomet Central constituency, bomet central division, rift valley province, Bomet County in Kenya. I attended Kabungut Primary at an early childhood stage and later on joined Siwot Youth Polytechnic for a Carpentry course dealing in household goods since my parents were unable to pay my O-level fees. i managed to join one of the leading Polytechnic and Immediately I completed I started my own business of making and selling Chairs, Tables, Cupboards, Desks and other related items.

My Business

I had passion and immediately i completed my two year course at Siwot youth polytechnic i started my own business in my home town called Silibwet in Kenya. i have been in business for the last ten years and having been making the best products for sale within and outside Bomet County. i am experienced in making Semi sofa, Sofa sets, Tables both wooden and Formica, Roofing houses, constructing wooden and mud houses when called for. i chose this business because of passion to make quality products for my clients. the costs i normally meet is for purchasing timber, frames, tools and paints for my quality products. i normally use my profits to increase stock and for my personal needs and some for saving. i therefore wish to increase stock but had difficulties raising money.

Loan Proposal

immediately i receive the loan i will make use of the amount in the following ways:-
- Buy one saw worth 3.5 dollars. This will ease my work load as the one i have currently has some defects.
- Buy one chisel worth 2.2 dollars to use in modelling since i currently have no electricity and wish that in the next six months being with Zidisha i will be connected to electricity but at the moment i hire the services.
The total cost of the project is 5.7 dollars
