About Me

i come from a family of 4.two brothers and two sisters. My mum is a nurse at pumwani maternity whereas my dad is a pastor.I am a student at kenya institute of management studies pursuing a diploma couse in marketting and finance. All my siblings are in school wth my second born sister sitting for secondary final examination this year.My parents earn little income which cannot cater efficiently for our fees and upkeep, due to this,i borrowed ksh 25000 from my aunt and started an electronics shop at Hawaii estate near junction.I sell products ranging from earthing-wire,bulbs,sockets,extensions,electric wires, screw drivers and testers.

My Business

My shop is known as Tumaini shop and is located at the heart of hawaii estate.I sell a variety of products including sockets, wires, testers, headphones, extensions, phone batteries and bulbs. My average monthly profits range from ksh 13,000 to ksh 17,000.Customers prefer my shop because i have a wide variety of quality products and also give them a 2 week warranty, moreover,my products prices are pocket-friendly.My biggest challenge as for now is that i lack enough capital to order goods in bulk and thus i end up buying from middlemen who extort me and thus i end up with meager profits. If given the loan, ill repay it from my monthly profits and the rest of the profit ill use to expand my business.

Loan Proposal

If given the loan, i intend on purchasing complete computers together with central processing units unlike now that i only buy spares.I also intend on buying electrical wires of ksh 5,000 since currently they are greatly on demand.Ill use ksh 3000 to repaint my shop and slightly expand it.From the profits gotten, ill use it to repay the loan, purchase stock and the rest to pay fees for my siblings
