About Me

I was born in a rural area by the name of Maso near Brooke Kericho town.I attended a primary school near my home after i cleared my primary education i attended my secondary school. I did my secondary through hardship until i completed my fourth form with a lot of struggles where by had to come and assist my mum with her farm work after school in order for her to raise my school fees.I managed to clear my fourth form and since i had seen my mum do farming i also got interested and i started rearing kienyeji chicks.

My Business

I keep kienyeji chicks which i sell for meat and eggs.I sell chicken meat to hotels around Kericho town and the eggs i sell to my neighbours but mostly i keep for breeding more chicks. I chose this kind of business because its starting capital is not expensive it does not need a big space and its not costly in terms of feeds and management. Its profit i use to buy more chicks and their feeds and also improve the facility they are living on. The remainder i pay school fees for my kids.
After i took zidisha loan i was able to also plant vegetables from the manure of my chicken and they are doing very well.

Loan Proposal

I want to add 20 more chicks which costs 20$. Unga feeds which costs 10$. Then the remaining amount of 9$ vaccinating drugs. These increase the number of my stock thus increase in meat and egg production. I expect my profit to increase by 20$ per week.
