About Me

I was born on 28th December 1968 in Koru location - Kisumu District (now Kisumu County) in a family of eight. I am the 5th born. Ours was an average family. At one point in the last 5years I lost my job which was my only source of income. Due to the skills acquired in college I was able to pull resources to invest in a small kiosk while at the same time doing electrical installations in homes. I chose the shop business because of its ease of operation. the people around my locality are small scale sugar cane farmers hence the ability to spend on retail products.
I have seven children the eldest being a girl in teacher training college the rest in secondary and primary schools. Their desire is to make it big in self employment I like swimming and listening to speeches.

My Business

My Kiosk offers basic family retail services which makes the goods be of high demand. The kiosk retails maize flour, wheat flour, cooking fat and oil, toiletries, plausible (pain killer drugs) among t others. My daily cost runs to about $100 with a profit of 20% average ($20). This profit is plowed back into the business and domestic upkeep. Now due to high domestic demand and school fees this is not enough to keep my family going and hence the need of a funding. On weekly basis I do expect a profit of $140 in a month this is about $560. I do expect this to grow with funding from you. I look forward to your kind support. Lots of regards.
