About Me

My names are Lilian wahu Njuguna,from Kikuyu Kenya...I have a diploma in Food production from Nairobi Aviation College.. am also a recording gospel artist with Fullhouse Music Kenya...
I've always had a passion for cooking, baking most especially, I love the results, and seeing someone enjoy a cake or bread I've made has always been rewarding for me...when they ask for the recipe, now that's a trophy for me!
My first baking lessons were from my mum when I was a little girl, she would mix her ingredients with just a cooking pot and spoon and I always enjoyed her cakes through her I learned some very priceless baking tips that I still use to date...so getting a chance to join College later on in life was a dream come true for me.
I Learnt all I could, collected a dozen recipes tried and tested all of them, kept the really good ones.. my friends and family constantly asked me why I didn't sell my cakes so after praying and working towards achieving my dream I started selling my cakes and the response was good.
After I cleared and graduated I didn't get a job as I expected so I decided to bake from home and later my friend helped me create a page called Delight Pastries 'n' cakes on Facebook ... Which is up and running and doing really well

Hello everyone!

The last time I was here was way back when.
Happy to report that I finished the kitchen, bought mixers, ovens, and grew. Not so much but a lot changed. I've had busy times and I've had slow times especially because of Covid.

It has ruined a lot of growing businesses and honestly, that's why I'm here looking for help. I still bake from home, my online presence grew, I also started doing farmer's markets but that's slow for now and so I only do It whenever possible.

Hoping it gets to pick up from December

So here is my loan breakdown
I would like to buy stock for my business> 25000
Pay for Markets attendance and transport >14000


I would have done much more with a lot more money, but I'll pay up fast and hopefully be able to do much more.

Why should you help me out?

Second, I always pay my loans no matter the hardship.
Third, I haven't borrowed here in a while, and am excited to have a chance to pay it forward. That's a really awesome way of growing each other.
Fourth, what's left for me right for me right now, is giving up, and I don't want to do that.

Loan Proposal

Hello lenders, I am back again for my fourth loan request to be able to finish my kitchen, I did not have a proper working space before, I have already began working on the project but i need your help to be able to finish it.
I have managed to build concrete walls for the counter top and done plaster on them also installed a sink . I need to buy tiles worth 100$, cement,nails,wood (for the cabinets),grout,corner strips, pipes, for roughly 170$ and the remaining amount i will use to pay the labor for a whole week which is 120$
Once the kitchen is done i will be able to work much more efficiently, be more productive even be able to offer classes for those interested in learning how to bake from that very kitchen and am very excited to see it complete as having a neat and proper kitchen is one of the best things a chef/baker could ever have.

I will be charging 20$ for a class for 2 hours and this will help me earn extra income aside from baking that can either repay this loan or fund another side project. Am very hopeful and determined to get the kitchen to 100% functionality so i will be so grateful for your help. Thank you again
