About Me

i was born and raised in a place called Kapsabet in Eldoret, I was named Komen in kipsigis meaning hard worker, and true to the name i believe to have worked hard right from my primary school. I was a pupil at Kipsigis Day Primary school before joining Kapsabet boys secondary school and later on joined Moi University for higher education.
At the university i pursued Agriculture and economics. I loved agriculture because i was brought up in a background of farmers. I saved money while in school and when i was in my third year, i managed to buy a cow using the money that i had saved. My mother back at home w3as taking care of the cow while i was in school.
I came to start doing dairy farming after completing my school. I used the cow that i had bought to do the dairy farming business in addition to another one that i recently acquired. That description basically gives details of how in came to start the dairy farming business.
What i find unique in our land is that many young people are going to the university and they forget there roots, they constantly chase the white color jobs in disregard of the local businesses at home like farming among others

My Business

i provide dairy services to the local;s in Kapsabet town, i own two dairy milk cows that gives me milk everyday in the morning and in the evening, the milk that i get goes to the locals for sale and i also take the surplus to the Kenya Cooperative Creameries where i sale the raw milk for fine processing and packaging. This services are useful because in our community milk consumption is the order of the day and hence many people must consume milk on daily basis, this makes the commodity to be useful and also on very high demand.
I chose this business because i had studied well at the university on livestock keeping and also i wanted to practice a native business. A business that has taken care of me since was a small boy to the very date.
I have been using the profits that i get to take care of my mother at home and some of my siblings, take care of the cattle by buying feeds for them and also maintaing there health, i have also been making savings when i get a lot of money with one aim of buying a milking machine for my cows

Loan Proposal

I will buy a sparing machine for my cows with this loan. I wsih to buy a machine worth 120 us dollars and the 8 us dollars given will support me towards the same exercise. I will add 4 more us dollars and buy the machine.
It will help me control ticks that attack and compete with the cow for food and hence reduce its milk production rate.
I expect to increase my production from the same after buying the machine and hence make good production and sales.

Daniel paid his loan off perfectly. I would gladly lend to him again and encourage others to do the same.
