I was born in a family of four. My father runs a small cereals business back in my village. My mum farms vegetables and take them to the market when they are ready. The money the get helps to pay our school fees and also sustain our basic needs every day. I studied the primary education at the neibouring school. Went to kaheti high school and currently in thika technical training institute. I struggled hard to have enough money to pay my school fees.
I sell imported second hand clothes during my part time. They are very marketable so I get them at a lower price in gikomba and sell at a price to residents. working during my part time helps me gain money to pay my house rent every month.
In our school we normally pay a fee of 8.5$ for exams which I have a balance of2.5$. I will use the money to pay a part of the balance. This will help me reduce the exam fee balance and I will have the opportunity to do the exam and complete my studies.
