About Me
I am the first born among four girls in our family. I can say that my upbringing was good went to good schools but did not perform very well in my O level exam this meant i did not get a chance to join university. However i went to college and studied Interior Design topped my class as the best student. A relative decided that i should couple my diploma in Interior with Graphics design so i studied Desktop publishing, to cut the long story short. I was unable to find gainful employment so i did decided with the skills i have in interior & graphic design i can start a business.
Other than that i am very creative make items from crotchet and i create and improve items for that extra feel .
My Business
My Source of income is mainly my savings. Before i bring an item to the market i do a small research and see how i can feel the gap, i try to create a demand for my goods. I choose this kind of business because i have a passion for it, and even though i may not make the sales am happy with my product at the end of the day.
I prefer to work on themes; depending on the theme on average i make Ksh 15,000-20,000 a month. From the proceeds o f my business invest part of the money back to the business, home improvements and my son's education.
Loan Proposal
When I get the loan i will purchase a knitting loom @ at USD 26 and also purchase different colours of wool to make to make scarfs, shawls @USD 22
When i get the loom i will train another person to use the loom, in the process the business will grow and i would have created employment.
I expect my profit to increase by USD.10
