About Me

My name is Nasimiyu, born in western part of kenya.
L am a mother of five, all my children are above 18 yrs. I have always loved business and that's how I managed to take my children through school. Now that they are all independent i do not want to be a burden to them, i want to take care of my my bills and self. Last year i took alone of ksh 250, 000 from my daughter to start my chicken and rabbit keeping business. Through the sale of eggs and chicken for meet i managed to repay back the cash.

My daughter told me about zidisha and i was excited to give it a trial.

My Business

I keep chicken and rabbits on large scale, i started with 150 chickens and 80 rabbits, but now i like the progress. I sell eggs, chicks, chicken and rabbit meat.
My clients include small hotels, individuals and neighbours.

Sometime i buy chicken from other farmers to meet the demand. I like the idea because i put a small markup for myself.

It's now dry season and food has become a challenge.

I wish to raise some cash to buy more feeds

Loan Proposal

I keep kienyeji chicken that i feed on organic feeds ie millet, soghurghum, maize, rice, greens , etc.

It's now dry season and feeds has become expensive. I have also increased my stock because of the demand.

I would like to raise some cash to enable me buy more feeds .

Thank you in advance for your support.
