Isaac Tawiah is my name. I hail from Badu in Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I am 36 years old. I schooled at St. Paul's International in the Western region. My schooling was not easy in terms of fee paying because my parents are farmers and they did not have enough funds to pay my fees. But constant borrowing by parents help to finance my education to the tertiary.
With little income I gain from the work I do at Nsawkaw District Hospital, I started a little provision store.
The people in my community like buying and selling locally known as business. My children want to become entrepreneurs in future.
I used to like doing backyard gardening as my hobby.
I have in stock some assorted items like baby diapers and wipers, lactogen, toiletries, milk, milo, cooking oil, pepsodent, sadine, raid insecticide, cerelac, exercise books and pencils. These items are so useful because we cannot live without food and so these food items help in survival. Diapers and toiletries help us to be clean and tidy. I choose this business because of the high demand of these items since only one store is available and is not always opened. The profit generated is used to reinvest in the growing of the business.
I want loan funding to purchase additional inventory for my provision store. I want to buy a box of lactogen at $90 per box. When my loan request is granted, it increase my stock level. It help to expand my store which in turn will require additional staff to manage the store thereby creating employment for others in my community. My profit may be increased to GHs29 if the loan is approved and disbursed.
