Am 25 yrs old,Grew up at Mwea, went to Ngurubani primary school and attended Thiba secondary, an year later i joined Utalii College where I got a certificate in Food and Beverage sales and service. Was lucky to get a job at Samburu Intrepids for 6 months under a contract. since then have got few jobs in Nairobi until i thought of keeping myself busy during my off days, growing and selling plant seedlings which i sell to some of the restaurants.

My Business

I grow plant seedling and flowers, which goes for as little as ksh 80 per seedling depending on the size and plant type. I get orders from companies to supply tree seedlings which intern give good results. Am hoping to expand with time to grow big.
The business is ideal because its enviromental friendly. The demand gets high most of the time when there is a construction for land scaping and also when people wants tree seedling as their fence. I use the money i get for my rent and for my equipments.
Since my last loan i have grown a bit more so financially thus more resonsibilities and that is why i need to expand more.

Loan Proposal

I managed to acquire a small piece of land with my last loan, some of the money will cater for next two months rent, that will come to about Ksh 2000. I will also try to purchase some farm tools and also hire one person to help along thus a job opportunity will be created. Some of the tools will include another shovel and a wheelbarrow.
I will expect the sale to grow from the previous.
Once i have prepared the piece of land i will be able to get orders in large quantity.
I also intend to open another business of another kind but that will need a smaller capital like a barber shop and employ someone.

    Hi guys,
    Firstly let me apologise for the delay on payment of the loan,secondly am now back and will be clearing the balance as scheduled. I have been on and off hospital thats why i couldn't afford the repayments.

    After getting the loan, i went ahead with my plans but the rains were too much and have destroyed most of my seedlings thus not much to sell. The little income am getting is from the water i sell from the tank i bought .

    hi good people, last time was a bit hectic after too much rain that almost destroyed every plant i had but now i have new strategies to tackle the rains one being on how to harvest the water thats why i need some cash to buy few equipments like a 2300ltr tank and pvc pipes.

    Hi good people, life has been a bit easier with the helping hand around, am able to run some errands as he checks on the garden. Am hoping to get a tree planting job from a nearby family as the celebrate their re-union.

    Hi, have been busy trying to catch up with the rains and also getting the piece of land. Managed to pay for the land at about khs 2,500 for 3 months and payed a helping hand inadvance a sum of 5,000. I also bought him a pair of gumboots. Looking forward to a good business. I would like to thank my lenders for the loan and the good work they are doing. Am glad i also helped and employed someone. Thank you once again.
