I am from Vihiga part of western Kenya i grew up in the village with a single parent, going to school was her responsibility she was a house girl and when she supplemented her employment with business i was able to attend school at least 2 months per term and through this i saw that if i tried business i could be a better person in life. I am a single parent i have my first born in high school the second born is going in high school next year and one is in upper primary school the last born still in lower primary school, i am a leader in my church and a community social volunteer for security and children rights.
I am farmer growing up in Vihiga as a child the main thing that we did was farming at home and as casual labor,since then i knew from those days i will do best if i grow vegetables and whole sale them, in my farm of 2 acres i grew vegetable form cabbages,luhya traditional vegetables, sukuma wiki , dhania and spinach, I start haversting after 30 days up to 3 months and the cycle continues,this keep me whole selling through out the year non stop, providing the market with stock for their clients.
The loan will enable me hire a tractor to plough the land with a cost of 3000, manure will cost 2500 and seed worth 2400, with this loan i will be able to work much faster and efficiently. M y family will be in a good chance to have a better life because we will have more profits and a helping hand in the investments.
